It features 25 Civilizations reflecting Faerun’s major kingdoms, map or map script with any settings, four Faerun Scenario Maps with true start locations, the option to recruit powerful Heroes, including Bards, Rangers, Druids, Wizards, Assassins and Paladins, Over 50 Spells available, 10 unit races, over 100 new buildings and wonders, 4 new and challenging Victory types and a few other features. This mod is incompatible with other mods.
With it’s original version released on JanuFaerun is mod featuring the fantasy world of the Forgotten Realms, inspired by the European-style continent of Faerun. There are no changes to gameplay, doesn’t affect a saved game, does not affect achievements progress, works in multiplayer mode, and provides only available information to the player. It shows the amount clicks required, requires the use of more icons, more mouse over actions, and tooltips are available. User Interface changes are made in the game. The Steam Workshop Civilization 5 Scenario Map Pack is exactly what the can says and provides most of the maps to play, but in 4X games it has been updated for the latest counterparts.
Civilization 6 players have decided to alleviate this pain by converting many maps of Civilization 5 fans into new (more) games. This is especially true if the installment gap is long. Saying goodbye to old games can be difficult when a sequel comes out.
